8. kinds of nouns- common, proper, abstract, collective, compound
9. plural nouns
10. possessive nouns
11. prepositional phrases
12. coordinating conjuctions
13. correlative conjunctions
14. interjections
15. subject and object case pronouns
16. possessive vs. contractions
17. intensive and reflexive

For the reading final on June 3, 2009 test you need to know:

1. definition of nonfiction, essay, informative article, biography, autobiography
2. five types of nonfiction
3. types of essays
4. purpose for writing
5. fact and opinion
6. point of view and the pronouns used
7. cause and effects- definition and examples

For reading and writing: you may use ONE side of a 3x5 card to write anything you want to use on the test.
